Winter Olympics at the CREC

Our young adults carried the torch in for Opening Ceremonies representing their country.

The Winter games began with hockey. There was mostly friendly competition and lots of goals.

Curling was next. Most of the athletes never heard of the sport before. It was exciting to try new things.

Bobsledding was fun – the young adults were sitting on a square board on wheels, pushing each other in between cones.

Ice skating was the final sport. It was fun to skate in a row behind each other, holding on and trying not to fall.

The Medal Ceremony followed. All Service Corps members went home with gold medals. There were lots of smiles.
